One summer day parents bring a little boy Zhenya to the village where his grandma and grandpa lived. Zhenya was supposed to spend the summer in their cozy house in the forest area. The house was unusual: dishes and furniture could speak here, the Cat was friends with the Mouse, and a real Brownie lived behind the stove.
But no one could even imagine that incredible adventures awaited the baby in this cute house. By order of the Waterman, Kikimora kidnapped and took him to a distant abandoned mill. Brownie, Cat and Mouse understood: only they can bring the boy home! Together with Lesovichok, friends go to the rescue. Along the way, they not only fight dark forces, but also make new friends.
To defeat the Waterman and save the child, they have very little time, by all means, they must be in time before the sunrise!
In February 2020, a group of filmmakers from Moscow are going by bus on a promotional tour of their film on the Vladivostok - Sevastopol route. In a month, the desperate team made a difficult, adventurous journey across the country, covering 15,000 kilometers and showing the picture in 23 cities. They were going, not realizing that a deadly virus was following on their heels, which would nullify all their efforts...
